Where is the water again?

The plumbing connections are in place and passed city inspections, only three permits deep this time... a far cry from the hassles encountered with the Robinson House connections.

In the picture the draintile and rainwater leaders empty into a sump where any sediments settle out and debris floats to the top. The exit to the city sewer is protected with a back-flow preventer to keep the basement dry in case of a flooded city sewer. The domestic wastewater joins in after the sump and finally one pipe attaches to the existing city connection.
