Concrete wall pour #1: Success

So the concrete was poured last thursday and thewalls were stripped of the formwork on the inside. The concrete is smooth, straight, even, and plumb. It was a success!
In the picture below you can see that the concrete was "knocked-out", meaning that there was a void created for some purpose. Inthis case you can see the steel I beam located directly above that was use to raise the house. In order to lower the house we must knock-out the foudation to remove the steel beam. the house will then be sitting on the foundation, after which we will fill in these voids with concrete.
